Bodmin murder LIVE: Killer jailed for life after rugby player stabbed to death in brawl | UK | News

A man found guilty of murdering a rugby player in a horror brawl outside a nightclub in Devon has been jailed for life. Jake Hill, 25, stabbed Michael Riddiough-Allen, 32, outside the Eclipse Nightclub in Bodmin on April, 30 2023.

Michael, who was the fifth person to be stabbed, died at the scene after suffering a fatal wound to his stomach. He was unarmed and had been desperately trying to separate those fighting.

Hill was found guilty of murder at Truro Crown Court on March 14 and will be sentenced at the same court along with two others today (Friday, April 12).

Chelsea Powell, 22, from Bodmin, was found not guilty of murder and manslaughter, but guilty of perverting the course of justice. Tia Taylor, 22, also from Bodmin, initially denied three charges but pleaded guilty to manslaughter and perverting the course of justice.

Hill, from Bodmin, was also found guilty of stabbing four others, but not guilty of stabbing a sixth.
