How to clean shower glass with cleaner’s easy and cheap tip – no more limescale

Glass showers are a beautiful addition to bathrooms as they add elegance and luxury to the room. 

Nevertheless, the vibe doesn’t stay long as deposits build up on the surface. It needs closer care to keep it crystal clear. 

These deposits tend to be a result of hard water buildup, known as limescale, or soap scum. 

Taking to her TikTok page @cleanswithbeth, Beth posted a video of how to clean shower screens with just two household staples.

The cleaning influencer said that those who have shower screens looking like hers, i.e. covered in limescale, should follow her method.

Beth captioned the video which received over 372,000 views: “Cheapest and easiest way to clean your shower screens.”

She instructed: “You’re going to put a mixture of dish soap, white vinegar and water into a spray bottle. Give it a really good spray down and then you’re going to go in with a non-scratch scourer.

Beth used a “Scrub Mummy” which can be picked up from for just £2.50.

After giving the shower screen a good scrub, make sure to cover the entire panel, and give it a rinse. Make sure there is no product left behind.

Beth then left the shower glass to dry on its own for 30 minutes rather than going over it with a cloth.

Showing the camera the shower screen, it was completely free of limescale and had no signs of any streaks. 

Beth said that she “absolutely loves it”, noting that the screen was “crystal clear” as a result of the method she used. She added that it was “so cheap and so easy”.

Taking to the comments section, fellow TikTokers shared their opinions on this method.

Beth responded: “Only a dash of dish soap, and equal parts white vinegar and water.”
