Three teens dead after horror crash between car and bus with two critically ill | UK | News
Three teenagers have died after a horror crash between a car and a bus in Wales. Two further teenagers have been left in a critical condition following the serious crash at around 7pm on Monday, December 11 in Elwyn Street in Coedely, Tonyrefail.
South Wales Police confirmed on Tuesday morning that the three teenagers – two aged 18 and one aged 19 – were declared dead at the scene last night.
The other men were in Cardiff’s University Hospital of Wales with life-threatening injuries.
A further two men were treated at the scene for minor injuries, WalesOnline confirmed.

Investigators are continuing to review the scene.
Superintendent Esyr Jones of South Wales Police said: « Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragic incident.
« Trained family liaison officers are supporting the families at what must be an extremely difficult time for them. »
Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward, as well as those with any dash cam or mobile footage, quoting reference 2300420639.
In a statement, South Wales Police said: « At around 7pm last night (Monday 11 December) emergency services were called to the scene of a serious road traffic collision involving a bus and an Audi A1 on Ely Valley Road, Coedely.
« Three men – two aged 18 and one aged 19 – were declared dead at the scene. Two further men, aged 18 and 19, were taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff with life-threatening injuries.
« Two other people were also treated for minor injuries.
« The road has remained closed while investigations into the collision continue. »
