Ronnie O’Sullivan can create history by becoming the oldest Masters winner of all time if he beats Ali Carter at Ally Pally today. The 48-year-old lifted the first of his seven Masters titles in 1995 – which itself is also a record.

However, the Rocket claims he is not bothered about trying to create history when he clashes with Carter.

« Nah I’m not really buzzed by that. I just enjoy my time, I’ve got a good schedule, I like playing the events I play, » O’Sullivan told the BBC.

« It’s a job at the end of the day, it’s a business. I’ve tried to think of other things to do, looking into it and thought maybe not. I’m just trying to find some sort of enjoyment in this.

« I’m not really chasing records. I’ve got them all, so I’m not chasing them. I’m not bothered about numbers, I’m more bothered about just trying to enjoy it. It’s hard thought. »
