Easy tip to ‘always try first’ when unclogging any sink inside your home

He explains: « If your sinks clogged there’s a way you can fix it yourself. Do not call the plumber yet. Now, the most important part to unclogging your sink is sticking your finger in the overflow.

« If you don’t have one don’t worry about it, but this is what’s going to give us the ability to get this suctioned. »

Dave explained that if you don’t shield the overflow with your finger while using his technique, the dirty bits will push straight up the overflow, making the task of unclogging your sink redundant.

Once you have covered your overflow, you can grab a sink plunger and go ahead and plunge your sink comparable to how you’d plunge a toilet.
