Luke Littler claims that he will spend much of Christmas Day on the practice board as he bids to continue his dream run at the World Darts Championship.

The 16-year-old is in the same section of the draw as Raymond van Barneveld, and the two could face off in the fourth round if Littler defeats Matt Campbell, and ‘Barney’ squeezes past Jim Williams.

« Christmas is going to be very different, » said Littler. « We’ll do the same thing a family always does and then when I finish my dinner I will get on the board for a good few hours.

« I would normally wait for the dinner to be cooked, go on the Xbox, call my mates, speak to them, but I’ll be on the board. »
