Meghan and Prince Harry have been accused of not taking their time when putting their ideas into action after coming up with a big project. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex demanded their aides started work on new ideas very quickly, a source who has worked with them in the past said.
They told Vanity Fair: « You can say what you want about Meghan, but she works incredibly hard.
« The problem is she and Harry have a tendency to hatch big projects over dinner and expect them to be actioned within days.
« Meghan had brilliant ideas, but she was always in a hurry and aides had to sit down and explain that foundations and big projects take thought, time and commitment, they cannot be rushed. »
During her months as senior royal, Meghan carried out several big projects alongside her royal duties.

The Duchess of Sussex continued to work hard even during her pregnancy.

Over the same period, the Duchess also created a clothing line in collaboration with fashion designers including her friend Misha Nonoo for one of her patronages, Smart Works.

Meghan also continued to visit or stay in touch with organisations close to her heart, as shown on her Instagram feed.
In July 2019, Meghan and Harry also trademarked their own charitable platform, The Sussex Royal Foundation, and likely worked behind the scene to handpick trustees and staff.
This foundation was never launched and, following their decision to step down as senior royal, its name can no longer be used by the Sussexes.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are working behind the scene on Archewell
Meghan and Harry announced their intention to step down as senior royals in January, hoping to be able to carve out a new role within the Royal Family as part-time working royals.
However, following talks with the Queen, senior aides and senior royals, the Sussexes agreed to relinquish the use of their title, of their brand name Sussex Royal and stepped down entirely as working royals.
This move gave them the freedom to relocate first to Canada and then to Los Angeles and embark on new profitable ventures.
The couple are now working on their new non-for-profit organisation, Archewell, while also collaborating closely with their own patronages hit by the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier this week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex filmed a video in which they spoke about the necessity to acknowledge the « uncomfortable » past of the Commonwealth.
But Meghan and Harry are also working on becoming financially independent.
The couple are believed to have signed up with the Harry Walker agency, a high-profile firm which represents Barack and Michelle Obama among many A-listers and couple help the Sussexes make millions through lucrative public speaking engagements.

« The Duke and Duchess of Windsor famously attended functions for a fee.”
