It received a 94 percent rating, it said, from its own survey of 840 passengers in July and August.

The top ten worst airport terminals in the UK are Manchester Terminal 3, Manchester Terminal 1, Luton, Belfast International, Manchester Terminal 2, Stansted, Birmingham, Heathrow Terminal 3, Heathrow Terminal 2 and Gatwick.

They all had customer scores of below 54 percent.

On the other end of the spectrum, the airport named the best in the UK was Liverpool John Lennon, with a customer score of 82 percent.

Passengers surveyed described the airport as « first class » and « well run », while staff were praised for being « friendly » and « helpful ».
